Strategic Analytics offers innovative analytical software and services that enable retail lenders to build and manage more profitable and less volatile loan portfolios.

Strategic Analytics is looking for a Software Configuration Manager to join our Agile software team to help develop the next generation of our Java-based financial analysis applications. This position will be responsible for managing the software configuration environment, setting and managing policy and procedure guidelines, version control, and product component integration. This position will be located at the company’s headquarters in Santa Fe, NM.

Required Experience

  • BS in computer science or related field
  • 5+ years of hands-on configuration management experience with Java applications
  • Perform activities to baseline existing codebases and project artifacts
  • Manage the maintenance, setup, and modification of continuous build environments
  • Manage the maintenance, setup, and modification of code repositories and tools
  • Manage the maintenance, setup, and modification of change request repositories and tools
  • Create and maintain software installation packages
  • Design configuration management policies and procedures that are compatible with Agile software approaches (especially SCRUM)
  • Platform experience with Windows OS
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills
  • Familiarity with Agile software methodologies (e.g., XP, SCRUM)
  • Ability to estimate and plan tasks

Desired Experience

  • Experience with unit test tools (especially JUnit) and their integration with build systems
  • Experience with configuration management for C++ applications
  • Experience with code obfuscation tools
  • Experience with software configuration for Linux/UNIX OSs
  • Programming/scripting experience
  • Framemaker experience
